The Vessel
Come join us! Our experienced and totally
dedicated crew would like to offer you the opportunity to fish
aboard one the newest additions to the San Diego fleet, the fabulous
Polaris Supreme. At 90 feet in length with a 25
foot beam, her state of the art electronics and luxury appointments
rival those of any world-class yacht. From its inception on the
drawing boards, this magnificent vessel was designed solely for the
express purpose of carrying select group of anglers to some of the
world's most bountiful fishing spots in total comfort and safety.
We have a 4000 mile range as you would expect befitting a vessel of
this class. We are Coast Guard licensed and inspected annually.
| Gone are the days when
fishing meant roughing it. The layout, accommodations and
complement of amenities on board this pride of the long
range fleet are all luxury liner quality. The unique
configuration of the galley and lounge with appointments
like full carpeting throughout, a rich teak interior, dual
ice makers, wet bar, video and stereo with remote head
phones are just a few of the touches to add to your sailing
pleasure. The food we offer ranks right up there with some
of the best land-based restaurants. Our specially trained
chef and his assistant are constantly preparing gourmet
style meals three times a day augmented by fantastic hors
d'oeuvres every afternoon. And of course, if you have a
special dietary requirements we can accommodate your
particular needs. |

Our 12 air-conditioned
staterooms are limited to two persons and on some trips it's
possible to have one all to yourself. Inside you'll find
reading lamps, a vanity wash basin with hot and cold water,
and cedar lined closets with plenty of storage space for all
your personal belongings. There are 4 heads with 3 showers
and an on board water maker that delivers 840 gallons a day. |

Tommy Rothery -
Owner/Operator Culminating
many years as a deck hand on long range boats, Tommy earned
his captains license in 1978, giving him a wealth of hands
on experience in this fishery. With all this acknowledged
skill and talent he has become one of the most successful
and sought after guides in the fleet. |

Tom Pfleger -
Owner Tom Pfleger poses with

Drew Henderson,
son of long time veteran skipper, John Henderson, started
fishing at a young age. He began his sport fishing career
at the age of 13 working through high school before making
the move up to long range joining the Polaris Supreme team
in 2000. In 2003 after three seasons on the Polaris
Supreme, Drew became Captain and has proven to be a very
accomplished skipper |

Dave Mack was born and raised
right here in San Diego. He started fishing on the family
boat when he was two. After two years at Montgomery College
in Texas he began his career working on the sport boats in
1974. He started working for the Polaris Supreme in 2005
and went on to receive his license in 2007. |

Richard Elias, otherwise known
as “Richie” was born and raised in Phoenix. He has been
fishing with his dad since he was five years old. With
fishing in his blood he decided to start making some money
at it and started working on the Holiday in 2000. After
five years with them he went to the Apollo for a year and
then came to us in 2007.
We are pleased that he has acquired his captain’s license
and that he has found his home on the Polaris Supreme. |

Jed Scott, a San Diego native
started working on the ocean in 1996, and came to us in
2004. He is a favorite among the passengers for his
knowledge and skill on the deck, as well as his excellent
customer care. |

Mark Clark - Deck
hand and galley assistant. Mark learned to fish fresh water in
the Sierra's, Nevada, and all the rivers in the west. He was
coached by his father Jim Clark and grand father Walter. Started
saltwater fishing in his mid teens and then started working on six pack
and day boats in the early 80's. Then he made the transition up
and started long range. After attaining knowledge and experience
from several different long range boats in the San Diego fleet he feels
he has now found his home on the Polaris Supreme. "Everything is
perfect here. I can work all summer and fall and then pursue my
other love, snow skiing all winter in Tahoe and Mammoth Lakes" says
Mark. He lives in Carson City with his 13 year old son Chace Clark, who
follows in his dad's footsteps with that same love of fishing and snow
skiing.

Jeff
Kantra, Jeff started cooking at age
16 in the kitchen of Coco's. In 1980 he joined the Navy and
continued to cook and serve our country. After he got out he
worked in some fine restaurants with the Hyatt, Hilton and
Double Tree hotels. With his desire to be his own boss he
opened his own restaurant in 1989. Jeff says "I have been a
cook for 21 years, and a chef for 11 years. I can cook
Italian, French, and Thai. But my favorite is home style
American. My motto has always been that nobody leaves my
galley or kitchen hungry!" Jeff joined our crew in 2008. |
